There is nothing quite like the excitement that hits the docks when the Pacific Halibut are biting. These “barn doors” are a prize for any Northern California angler, offering some of the most rewarding fishing on the coast. Because they are managed so closely, our time on the water is precious. We’re all about making the most of those calm weather windows and enjoying the unique challenge of bringing one of these flatfish over the rail.

HASA’s role is to make sure our local fishing community has a seat at the table when it comes to access.
